G 288 Local Volunteer & Donations Management
Course Description:
The course is designed to strengthen the abilities of local jurisdictions to successfully prepare for and handle volunteer and donations management issues that may arise. The course content and activities may also serve as a template, thereby enhancing uniformity in addressing areas of donated unsolicited goods, unaffiliated volunteers, and undesignated cash. This training also provides information regarding the State’s volunteer and donations management responsibilities, which are designed to help build relationships between government and non-government organizations. To provide local emergency management personnel and voluntary agency representatives with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop and execute an effective volunteer and donations management program. **This course is part of the FEMA Advanced Professional Series (APS)

G 2300 Intermediate EOC Functions
Course Description:
This 3-day course will examine the role, design, and function of the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and their supportive relationship as a NIMS Command and Coordination component a Multi-Agency Coordination System. Provide training about staffing, organization, information, systems, communications, and equipment needs at the EOC, such activating and deactivating, operations, as well as training and exercising. Focus on the role of an EOC as one of four NIMS Command and Coordination Structures.

EMPD-Emergency Mgmt Program Development Session #3
Course Description:
The Emergency Management Program Development course provides a comprehensive overview of the statutory requirements and professional duties of today’s emergency manager. Developed and delivered by practitioners in four separate 6 hour sessions, the course is an opportunity for peer to peer learning through lecture as well as task-oriented coaching. Technical and soft skill development in the areas of administration, planning, resource management, training, and exercises are included. Course Description:
This 1-day, Advanced Professional Series course will allow participants to develop an effective interface between Emergency Operations Center (EOC) by applying Incident Command System (ICS) principles. This course works best when delivered to ICS and EOC personnel from the same community.
