Iowa's Trauma Conference
Course Description:
This workshop presents process and procedures for successful management of mass-casualty incidents. It will focus on the interaction that must occur during an MCI involving EMS, fire, police, helicopter, hospital, emergency management and communications center personnel. The workshop is designed to help participants facilitate rapid scene assessments, concise radio reports, triage, treatment and transportation. More importantly, this program offers procedures and insights that will assist personnel in gaining control of incident scenes of any size.

Parking is available at a surface lot just north of the
Convention Center; parking fee is $10 per car per day.
There also is street parking surrounding the Convention
Center. Several parking ramps are located downtown and
connected to the Convention Center via the downtown
