AWR 336 Health Sector Emergency Preparedness
Course Description:
The FEMA Center for Domestic Preparedness has developed a one-day, 8 hour Health Sector Emergency Preparedness Course. The course is designed to "provide training to health care providers and suppliers in the achievement of the four core elements outlined in the September 2016 Emergency Preparedness Requirements for Medicare and Medicaid Participating Providers and Suppliers Final Rule." This Rule impacts 17 different CMS Provider types including hospitals, critical access hospitals, long term care facilities, dialysis centers, transplant facilities, home health, hospice, and a variety of clinics and outpatient and ambulatory care facilities; providers are expected to be fully compliant with the Final Rule by November 15, 2017.

must have FEMA Student ID
Course Target Audience:
Healthcare Providers, consultants, especially those needing to be compliance with CMS Emergency Preparedness Final Rule.
Additional Information:
