Training Event Details

Course Description:

RAIDER (Rapid Deployment, Awareness, Intervention, Decisiveness, EMS, Recovery) solo-engagement training is designed to provide officers with the necessary mental and physical skills to draw the attention of the active shooter away from the potential victims, confuse and frustrate the shooter, and successfully neutralize the situation through very aggressive, but not reckless, action. The course involves classroom, range, and scenario instruction, which are delivered in a logical progression. The two-day non-live fire Operator level, the four-day live-fire Operator level, or the five-day Instructor level Courses are run concurrently. There is no need to take repetitive courses to reach the next level, as long as each level is completed successfully.

Course Prerequisites:

Must be active police officer or active armed security officer.
