Course Description:
This 1-day course will provide the knowledge and skills in social media and its uses with current tools, methods, and models to properly make use of social media for crisis communication.
Course Prerequisites:

Course Target Audience:
This course is targeted for a broad cross section of individuals and professionals interested and involved in emergency management, planners, as well as communication and public information personnel.
Additional Information:
1) Travel and meals are on your own
2) Participants must bring a wi-fi enabled device(laptop Preferred)
3) Participants must create Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
accounts prior to attending the course
4) Participants must be able to post test messages on these
accounts
