Transportation Rail Incidents Preparedness & Response (TRIPR) Training
Course Description:
TRIPR involves response and early-phase recovery actions for a Flammable Liquid Unit Train incident. It was developed to provide critical information on best practices related to rail incidents involving hazard class 3 flammable liquids, such as crude oil and ethanol. A key component of this initiative is to learn from past experiences and to leverage the expertise of public safety agencies, rail carriers, and industry subject matter experts in order to prepare first responders to safety manage incidents involving flammable liquids unit trains.
Course Prerequisites:
None
Course Target Audience:
Fire/Hazmat, Law Enforcement, Emergency Management, Public Health, Environmental Response Agencies at the local, state, and federal levels. Additionally, public officials and agency representatives involved in incident management and cleanup activities.
