L 0964 All-Hazards Situation Unit Leader Course
Course Description:
This course helps participants establish the essential core competencies required for performing the duties of the Situation Unit Leader (SIT-L) in an All-Hazards incident. This course addresses all responsibilities appropriate to an SIT-L operating in local- or state-level All-Hazards Incident Management Team (AHIMT). These responsibilities include processing information and intelligence and developing displays. The course is an instructor-led training that supports learning through discussion, lecture, and active participation in multiple exercises.
Course Prerequisites:
IS100, 200, 700, 800
ICS 300
Course Target Audience:
Emergency Management Agencies, Emergency Medical Services, Fire Service, Law Enforcement, Public Health, Public Works, NGO’s, and others desiring to achieve effective local incident management capability proficiency in an all hazards environment.
Additional Information:
1) Please bring an SIT-L kit with you to the course.
2) Lunch is on your own.
3) Travel & Lodging are the participant’s responsibility.
