Course Description:
This class provides an overview of Emergency Shelter Operations.
Planning, Site Selection, Staffing, Feeding, Management, and
Documentation represent a sample of the topics that will be
discussed. The course also includes a tabletop exercise at the
conclusion of the course content.
Course Prerequisites:
None
Course Target Audience:
Individuals who would be involved in mass shelter operations and management.
Additional Information:
1) Parking in front of the building is limited, but there is ample parking just to the south of the facility.
2) Please enter the main doors on the front (West side) of the building.
3) Travel and meals are you on your own, adequate time will be provided.
