ICS 300 Intermediate
Course Description:
This course provides training on and resources for personnel who require advanced application of the Incident Command System. This course expands upon information covered in the ICS-100 and ICS-200 courses.
Course Prerequisites:
ICS-100, ICS-200, IS-700, IS-800
Course Target Audience:
This course is open to first responders, public works, jurisdictional executives, hospital leadership, non-profits, and anyone else that may be required to perform intermediate ICS duties.
Additional Information:
1) Please park in the front of The Security Institute and take the stairs or elevator to the lower level where you will be directed to a classroom. 2) Meals on your own, adequate time will be provided 3) This multi-day course is supported with Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) funding. You may request lodging reimbursement if you traveled an excess of 50 miles one-way and are an Iowa resident. Requests are based upon available funding. BEFORE making lodging reservations and PRIOR to start of class, email your lodging reimbursement request to HSEMDTraining@iowa.gov. 4) All other travel will be on your own if the above doesn't apply or requested.
