Course Description:
This course provides the ability of local governments to perform a Rapid Needs Assessment accurately and within the first few hours after an incident or emergency is critical in providing a response designed to save lives.
**This course is part of the FEMA Advanced Professional Series (APS)
Course Prerequisites:
Recommend: IS-700.B: An Introduction to the National Incident Management System
Course Target Audience:
local elected officials, emergency management, public works, fire, law, hospital/medical providers, volunteer agencies
Additional Information:
1) Enter through the Southwest door into the operations center, please park in Southwest lot.
2) Use the main entrance under the overhang.
3) Travel and meals are on you own, adequate time will be provided.
