L 0967 All-Hazards Logistics Section Chief Course
Course Description:
This course provides local and state-level emergency responders with a robust understanding of the duties, responsibilities and capabilities of an effective Logistics Section Chief on an All-Hazards Incident Management Team (AHIMT). These responsibilities fall into two categories: responding to the incident and effectively fulfilling the position responsibilities of a Logistics Section Chief on an AHIMT. Exercises, simulations, discussions, and a final exam enable participants to process and apply their knowledge.

IS 100, 200, 700, 800
ICS 300, 400
Course Target Audience:
NIMS ICS All-Hazards training should be completed by personnel who are regularly assigned to Functional, Support, or Unit Leader positions on Type 3 or 4 AHIMTs, or by those persons who desire to seek credentials/certification in those positions.
Additional Information:
PRIORITY will be given to Iowa IMT members first
1) Come in the main entrance of the college and go around the roundabout. It's a brick building on north end of campus we sit behind the tennis courts.
2) Please park in the parking lot to the west of are building and use the southwest entrance of the building.
3) Travel and meals are on your own
4) Available travel funding support for Iowa IMT members, email your requests to hsemdtraining@iowa.gov upon registering for details.
