Course Name:
ICS 300 Intermediate
Course Description:
This course provides training on and resources for personnel who require advanced application of the Incident Command System. This course expands upon information covered in the ICS-100 and ICS-200 courses.
Course Prerequisites:
ICS-100, ICS-200, IS-700, IS-800
Course Target Audience:
This course is open to first responders, public works, jurisdictional executives, hospital leadership, non-profits, and anyone else that may be required to perform intermediate ICS duties.
Additional Information:
1) This facility takes a whole block, with Polk County Public Health on the front (south side of bldg) Free street parking is available as well. https://www.polkcountyiowa.gov/emergency-management/about-us/location-facilities/
2) Travel and lunch is on your own - ample time will be allotted and there are a few options close by.
3) This multi-day course is supported with Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) funding. You may request lodging reimbursement if you traveled an excess of 50 miles one-way and are an Iowa resident. Requests are based upon available funding.
