Course Description:

ASSP supports all aspects of crisis and consequence management and specifically addresses the needs of the Communications and Information Management component of the National Incident Management System (NIMS). This course will explain how ASSP contributes to effective incident management and decision making, components to achieving ASSP, and exploration of current and emerging technologies to develop ASSP. This course covers information from FEMA L0948, G2300, L0964, and will introduce the Mircrosoft Team EOC software package.

Course Prerequisites:

Course Target Audience:

Personnel that would be assigned to: ICS Command & General Staff positions; EOC positions; Elected, Appointed, and Executive personnel (Multiagency Coordination positions); and Non-governmental Organization representatives with emergency and disaster management responsibilities.

Additional Information:

1) Parking available in library lot north of the EOC. On-site students must be registered by December 7th to receive a free parking pass. 2) All travel and meals will be on your own 3) There is a FEE associated with this training, payable at time of registration 4) Registration link is below
