ICS 400 Advanced
Course Description:
This 2-day course provides training on and resources for personnel who has a responsibility to function in a command post managing and expanding incident. Topics include use of an Incident Complex and Area Command, and the interactions between Multi-Agency Coordination (MAC) entities.
Course Prerequisites:
ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-300, IS-700, IS-800
Course Target Audience:
This course is designed for senior personnel who are expected to perform in a management capacity in the Area Command or Multi-Agency Coordination Entity.
Additional Information:
1) Classroom T139, in the lower level of The Security Institute.
2) Free parking is available in lot 2B
3) This multi-day course is supported with Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) funding. You may request lodging reimbursement if you traveled an excess of 50 miles one way and are an Iowa resident. Requests are based upon available funding.
