PER 404: Logistic and Supply Chain Resilience in Disasters
Course Description:
The goal of this certified DHS/ FEMA performance level course is to train public and private stakeholders to establish a resilient disaster supply chain that is capable of rapidly sourcing, tracking, transporting, staging, and distributing critical emergency supplies to survivors during a disaster. The training provides a practical approach for participants to develop rapidly collaborative public and private solutions to restore pre-existing supply chains that provide critical supplies to survivors during a disaster. The course includes a series of disaster simulations with participants racing against time to keep supplies moving while confronting challenges common to disasters.
Course Target Audience:
Public and private sector disaster logistics and supply chain stakeholders, including Federal, State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial leadership and management, Councils of Government and Area Development Districts, Emergency Management Personnel and Responders, Agriculture producers, Non-profits, and Economic Development Agencies.
Additional Information:
1) Non Vaccinated individuals MUST wear a mask at all times. Additional COVID protocols may be in place depending on current status at time of the course.
2) Travel and meals are on your own.
3) Registration deadline, September 5, 2022 with a minimum of 21 participants or risk cancellation.
