Course Name:
Managing the Lost Person Incident (MLPI)
Course Description:
This course is very heavy in Incident Command (IC) instruction and includes the IC in classroom exercises. An intensive indoctrination for those who are interested in learning more about functioning in Search and Rescue (SAR) managment.
Course Prerequisites:
ICS 100-200 a must with NIMS 700-800, ICS 300-400 recommended but not required
Course Target Audience:
Police, Fire, EMA's, command staff
Additional Information:
1) Masks are currently required for unvaccinated individuals and by all in common areas and/or when we are unable to practice social distancing.
2) Parking is located on the north side of the building near the flag pole entry.
3) Our building is located across form the National Guard and is behind Chatham Oaks. Follow drive around to the south/east.
4) This multi-day course is supported with Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) funding. You may request lodging reimbursement if you travel
