Commercial UAS Training for First Responders
Course Description:
This three-day, classroom based course covers all aspects related to UAS operation and safety considerations. Attendees will become prepared to take the FAA Unmanned Aircraft general knowledge exam to become a Remote Pilot.

None
Course Target Audience:
Law Enforcement, Fire & EMS Departments, and Emergency Management Agencies.
Additional Information:
1) Cost of the course is $850, register as a guest & pay via credit card directly through their registration page. 2) Multi-registrant discounts are available for organizations sending three or more employees (not stackable with first responder discount). 3) Prior to registration contact Kansas State University for scholarship information. You may be eligible for a $500 scholarship to reduce the cost of registration for law enforcement, fire, ems and emergency management agencies. 4) Lunch will be provided each day of training. 5) Travel and lodging are NOT included in the registration fee and are the responsibility of the registrant. 6) The FAA exam is NOT included in the registration fee, instructions will be given to registered students on how to register for the exam. Classroom sessions will be 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a night demonstration on April 1 starting at 7:00PM.
