G 2300 Intermediate EOC Functions
Course Description:
This 3-day course will examine the role, design, and function of the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and their supportive relationship as a NIMS Command and Coordination component a Multi-Agency Coordination System. Provide training about staffing, organization, information, systems, communications, and equipment needs at the EOC, such activating and deactivating, operations, as well as training and exercising. Focus on the role of an EOC as one of four NIMS Command and Coordination Structures.
Course Prerequisites:
IS 100, 2200, 700, 800. We also recommended: G191 & 200.

Course Target Audience:
The intended audience(s) are federal, state, tribal, territorial, local level, business and nongovernmental emergency management personnel who may be designated to support an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) within their jurisdiction or organization.
Fire services, law enfocement, emergency management, public works, public health, medical emergency, hospitals, and those that may be designated to support the EOC.
Additional Information:
1) Parking is located in the back of the building, through the gates. Walk down the left side building sidewalk and enter into the large training room on the lower level.
2) Travel and meals will be on your own-adequate time will be allotted for lunch
