Annual Planning, Training and Exercise Strategy
Course Description:
The purpose of this Planning, Training and Exercise (PTE) Strategy is to identify ESFs to update each year. Relevant core capabilities will then be identified ensuring preparedness activities are linked. This process will aid our ability to capitalize on funding opportunities and streamline current practices. The Strategy will also provide direction and priorities during meetings with the Homeland Security Advisory Committee (HSAC). Data from the PTE Strategy will also inform the Threat and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (THIRA), Emergency Management Program Development (EMPD), and EMA mentoring program.
