Mass Care Tabletop Exercise
Course Description:
Heartland Dawn, a mass care tabletop exercise, provides a forum for district-wide, local, private and public partners to coordinate emergency preparedness, response and recovery activities/issues during a simulated interactive exercise that helps test the capabilities of each organization’s response plan. This exercise will prompt participants to address issues in their plans and identify address any shortfalls/gaps in plan revisions.

EMA, public health, public works, private sector, energy, NGOs, law enforcement, EMS, communications, hospitals/medical centers, nursing homes, fire departments, school districts
Additional Information:
1. Please do not use the parking lot east of the police department. Street parking is available around the police department.
2. All travel will be at the attendee’s expense.
3. Catered lunch will be provided.
