Basic Moulage Training
Course Description:
This 6-hour workshop will cover the use of basic moulage techniques (art of injury simulation) to enhance the visual and emotional response for training and exercises. The course goal is that the student will have the basic knowledge to organize and do the moulage portion of a simulated emergency. Moulage techniques to be covered include bruises/shock, burns, nose and scar wax, bones and protruding objects, blood, and lacerations.

Emergency Management Coordinators, Emergency responders, CERT Volunteers
Additional Information:
All participants will need to wear clothing and shoes that are suitable to be stained with simulated blood, charcoal powder and makeup. The students will partner with another class participant to perform the practical moulage applications. Lunch: Bring your own or Jimmy John’s sandwiches will be ordered (you can order on-line that day with a credit card and we will pick-up). Please bring your own beverages for the day – otherwise you can go to the local convenience store to pick up your own
