Course Description:
This course provides the ability of local governments to perform a Rapid Needs Assessment accurately and within the first few hours after an incident or emergency is critical in providing a response designed to save lives. **This course is part of the FEMA Advanced Professional Series (APS)
Course Prerequisites:
Recommend: IS-700.B: An Introduction to the National Incident Management System
Course Target Audience:
local elected officials, emergency management, public works, fire, law, hospital/medical providers, volunteer agencies
Additional Information:
1) Parking is on the East side of the building, front entrance. 2) Lunch will be provided by local EMA, all other travel expenses will be on your own. **Please follow the current CDC guidelines, and if you feel ill, have a temperature, or have a sore throat, stay home.
